What's the difference between the license types?
Minimum (Basic Lease) includes MP3 and WAV files for non-exclusive use. Stems+ adds the full trackout stems for mixing. Exclusive takes the beat off the market and gives you the broadest usage rights. The full breakdown is on the licensing page.
How do I get my files after I buy?
Delivery is instant. Download everything from your order confirmation page right after checkout. Your files stay available in your dashboard.
Can I exchange a beat if I picked the wrong one?
Yes. You can exchange a beat or pack for a different one of equal or lesser value within 7 days of the purchase date (not the download date). The full terms are in the exchange policy.
Do you offer refunds?
Beats and packs are digital goods, so we don't give cash refunds. We offer a 7-day exchange for a different beat instead. Video service packages (Motion Art, 3 20-Second Lyric Videos) and custom quoted projects are final once work begins. Details are in the exchange policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major debit and credit cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Stripe processes every payment.
Do I need to credit STZ when I use a beat?
Yes, on Minimum and Stems+. Credit "prod. by STZ" wherever the song is released. Exclusive purchases don't need a credit unless we agree otherwise.
Can someone else buy the same beat after me?
On a non-exclusive license, yes. The beat stays available to other artists until someone buys it exclusively. If you want it off the market, choose the Exclusive license. See licensing.
How do I register my finished song for royalties?
STZ isn't a publishing administrator, so you register the song yourself. After you release a finished song built on an STZ beat, register it with a performing rights organization (ASCAP, BMI or SESAC in the US, or your local equivalent) under your own name as the songwriter. More detail is on the licensing page.
How long do video services take?
Timing depends on scope, and we confirm it with you before work begins. Motion Art and the 3 20-Second Lyric Videos pack have standard timelines. Custom quoted projects are scheduled one by one.
What if something is wrong with my video order?
Email us right away. A missed deadline, a corrupted file or work that doesn't match what we agreed is a service issue, and we fix it directly. It isn't an exchange request.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Stripe processes all payments, and STZ never sees or stores your full card number. The privacy policy explains how we handle the rest of your data.
