What's the difference between the license types?
Minimum (Basic Lease) gets you MP3 + WAV for non-exclusive use. Stems+ adds full trackout stems for mixing. Exclusive takes the beat off the market entirely and gives you the broadest usage rights. Full breakdown on the Licensing page.
How do I get my files after I buy?
Delivery is instant. Right after checkout you can download everything from your order confirmation page, and it stays available anytime from your dashboard.
Can I exchange a beat if I picked the wrong one?
Yes — beats and packs can be exchanged for a different one of equal or lesser value within 7 days of your purchase date (not download date). See the full Exchange Policy.
Do you offer refunds?
Beats and packs are digital goods, so we don't offer cash refunds — instead we offer a 7-day exchange for a different beat. Video service packages (Motion Art, 3 20-Second Lyric Videos) and custom quoted projects are final once work begins. See our Exchange Policy for details.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major debit and credit cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay at checkout — all processed securely through Stripe.
Do I need to credit STZ when I use a beat?
Non-exclusive licenses (Minimum and Stems+) require a "prod. by STZ" credit wherever the song is released. Exclusive purchases don't require a credit unless otherwise agreed.
Can someone else buy the same beat after me?
On a non-exclusive license, yes — the beat stays available to other artists unless it's later purchased exclusively. If you need it taken off the market, go with an Exclusive license. See Licensing.
How do I register my finished song for royalties?
STZ isn't a publishing administrator, so that part is on you. Once you've released a finished song built on an STZ beat, register it with a PRO — ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC in the US, or your local equivalent — under your own name as the songwriter. More detail on the Licensing page.
How long do video services take?
Turnaround varies by project scope and is confirmed directly with you before work begins. Motion Art and the 3 20-Second Lyric Videos pack have standard timelines; custom quoted projects are scheduled individually.
What if there's a problem with my video order?
Reach out right away — a missed deadline, a corrupted file, or work that doesn't match what was agreed to is a service issue we'll fix directly, not an exchange request.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe — STZ never sees or stores your full card number. See our Privacy Policy for more on how your data is handled.
